General Rules:

• The Card Merchant is open at all times, but cards will be updated once a week on a set day. When I settle on which day that will be I'll list it here xD.
• Card frames are single use per purchase, and must be assigned to an elnin at the time of purchase. This means if you have several elnins to update, you'd need to buy several cards.
  
• Changing your elnin's card frame to any other frame they already own is 2 EC/SC .
• You could theoretically purchase a card for a kitten stage elnin as an "Unlock" only-- The card frame will not be eligible to be updated until they are an adult.
• Card frames are locked to elnins rather than the elnin's owner, meaning they cannot be transferred off of the elnin during trades.

• Cost if you are using the current character art (or character art that has already been approved) and simply changing the frame using one of the frames already purchased for the elnin: 2 EC/SC .
• New character art can be shown in clothing if it is the pre-made approved character art that came with a sale.

• Cost if you are changing the design/character art and require new character art to be approved: 5 EC/SC .
• New character art can be by any artist but must be approved by manaberri or the modberry team first.
• New character art can be shown in clothing.
• Must be an elnin in their base form- no gijinkas.
• Please keep in mind: 
• Character art should be cleanly rendered. If the art is too rough/too stylized to see the design well, it might be refused.
• We reserve the right to refuse character art we feel is ill-suited for the masterlist.
• Please submit new character art requests in the comments below (linking a low res/watermarked image for initial approval first is fine), or by noting the masterlist account, manaseed, with the details.

Rank Ranges and Adjustments.

It's important to take your elnin's rank and the associated mp range into consideration when making edits that affect mp totals.

• Nesting: 0-1 mp
• Villager/Dreamer: 2-4 mp
• Adventurer/Valiant: 5-9 mp
• Noble/Paragon: 10-13 mp (noble mp range was increased by 1 recently)
• Royal: 14+

If your elnin's edits put you over your current rank's mp cap, your elnin's internal mana will go into an "unstable" state.

• Elnins with unstable mana have the following debuff(s):
  
• They become sterile (cannot be bred) for the duration of the imbalance.  
• Cannot receive further edits.
• Everything else is normal. Statuses will be removed once an elnin's mp stabilizes (when they increase their rank). 
• There might be additional affects added later on, but for now this is it.

Please note, you can only go over your rank cap with ONE stat. Meaning once you add a trait that puts your mp outside of the appropriate range, you cannot add any further mp. If you go over the cap by 3 points or just 1, the result is the same. In the event that you add a tail style that puts you over your cap, the tail size automatically becomes "small" until you rank up to allow for a larger size.

The actual cost/process for rank adjustments will be handled in a few ways! There will be a base EC/USD cost, with a few different types of quest prompts that will lower the total cost by a certain amount when completed. Questing, EC, and USD rank ups are currently still being hammered out, but I'd like to get these implemented asap! The base costs will probably come first, followed by information on how to do quests.

How to submit edit requests:

Please submit official requests [HERE] or by noting the masterlist account with "EC Edit Request" in the title. 

Please provide a link to your elnin's masterlist entry for easy reference!

Show your edits on the request form below:

• You can submit edit requests by sketching just the edits onto the silhouette, sketching the entire elnin, or providing fully rendered art. Examples:
•      
• Art must show all requested edits. 
• You must also have the edits listed on the right for clarification along with any applicable changes in mp.
• Your edit must be approved by manaberri or an appropriate Berry-Bazaar mod.

Please also include your own EC  cost breakdown in your comment.

• It will be reviewed by manaberri or a mod for accuracy, but having the initial quote ready to go over will help speed up the process.
• If you're not sure about any of the amounts, no problem! Just make your best guest, or else request clarification before you submit your edits and we'll take a look!

After you submit your edits:

• Once your edit has been approved, the edit form will be stashed and linked from your masterlist entry at the top under "Design Edit History". Previous stats will be listed on the stash entry description.
• When breeding, only the most recent traits will be considered.
• Updating card art after an edit: This will not happen automatically unless the edit was done as part of a base transfer. For more information on how to change the art on your elnin's card, please see:

  Due to edits/growths/etc. approvals being closed when updating character art, we expect the character art to reflect the design shown in the masterlist entry character art with no edits to the design itself. If the masterlist's character art is not changing and just being reframed, we will reach out to you via note for the transparent files of the current art. If the art is new (redrawn or redone as is by a different artist) it should still reflect the same design shown in the art. No edits to markings, colors, mutations, etc. or growths will be allowed in new art approvals here as those changes must be approved through the respective journals which are currently closed.

How to Grow your Kittom!

• USD commissioned growths done by manaberri. 
• These can be obtained through sales hosted occasionally here on DA or more frequently through Patreon early access sales.

• These can be obtained through slots made available here on DA. Slot availability will be heavily based on manaberri's current overall workload.
• EC is a group currency that you earn by participating in Berry-Bazaar prompts and events. EC is tracked at the Group Bank.

• This type of growth will not be slot based, and will always be available to purchase once they are opened officially.

A Few Important Notes:

  EC costs are being calculated under the assumption that prompts will begin to run more reliably on a monthly or bi-monthly basis. I'm shooting for a 5EC/month availability, but will adjust the EC growth costs accordingly if this ends up not working as intended. 
  HQ Coins, which are obtained monthly through some Patreon reward tiers, are considered an EC equivalent currency and can be used for all EC related purchases.
  MYO EC Growth slots are scheduled to open in October (I'm taking a quiet September to catch up with work and detangle my brain after the Faire craziness xD). EC/USD Commissioned slots will likely follow a month or two after that.
